The German company SAP's country manager, Saqib Ahmad, stated that the biggest deficiency in digitalization in Pakistan is a shortage of IT experts. To overcome this deficiency, SAP has provided free training courses and software to students of relevant educational institutions.

During a conversation with media in Karachi, Ahmad said that human resources in Pakistan are very good and they are quick learners and hardworking. Therefore, they are highly sought after around the world, especially in Arab countries. That's why there is a shortage of IT experts in Pakistan. To address this issue, SAP has made its educational software available for free to educational institutions.

He said that Pakistan is in dire need of digital revolution at present, and support from IT can overcome this deficiency. However, the government needs to improve its policies and infrastructure for this to happen.

Ahmad said that due to the country's economic difficulties, companies in Pakistan are struggling to provide necessary resources for digital transformation.
